From
aymiah*PRETZELS- My username! This actually came from a conversation I had with two friends circa the days of eighth grade. It went as follows...
'Hey, President Bush choked on a Pretzel the other day'
'Man, I bet the White House is really screening anyone that sends him boxes of pretzels, huh?'
'Haha, I bet they think the pretzels have anthrax in em'
And thus the hideous name that stands before you is born BU
*AMATERASU- I play her at
capeandcowl:D She's fun to play because I play her as an old, occasionally grumpy lady and not some moeblob. As for the wolf, Iiiii totally want to just give her a hug. I love fuzzy animals ;A;
*PAINT- specifically the MS sort. What makes me a terrible person is that in fandom (Mostly Medabots B:) if I get a terrible, terrible idea I MS. Paint it. Usually the results are hideous, as
iceburgundyand
slothfulsamoyedcan vouch for. :)
*OKAMI - I fell in love with this game at first playthrough ;A; Gorgeous art, awesome characters, and gameplay that was addicting and fun to go through. Would play through again. (Except the part where you're inside the dragon. Ewwww stomach acids ;A;) I kind of want an Issun to follow me around just for the sheer having-a-lil'-glowy-guy-sitting-on-your-h
ead-edness.
*E.V.E. Also played at
capeandcowlI really liked her from the movie, as she was pretty badass, didn't take crap from anything, but was also flawed. Sort of sheltered. Not really able to see anything past working. Then along comes an adorable trash compactor, and she's a more approachable character. In the Rp, she's kind of clueless with dealing with 2009, but I've been told that's cute :V. Also, lasers.
from
iceburgundy*Imagination-

In all seriousness, though, I think imagination is essential. It adds some variety spices to the soup of life. BU I love hanging out with imaginative people and trying to shake the last good drops of imagination out of my own noggin when writing.
*Fairytales
Now here's something that I could go on forever about. Fairy tales were something I distinctly remember that I grew up with. My grandfather liked to tell me them to pass the time, and when I learned to read, I read em'. My favorites are Cinderella (who is a ninja, I swear! B(), Beauty and the Beast (okay, half due to Belle BU), Puss in Boots, and Thumbelina. It isn't until now, though, that I've started to write some of my own, including a novella,
The Nameless Princess that started as my Senior Independant Project. I'm continuing it out of my own interest. Who knows where it'll go? :D
*Opinions
I'm of the belief that people will always have opinions, and they can express them how they wish. Sure, they can't control how people react to them, but that's how society works. I can't say I'm some sort of being that transcends, well, anything, though. Although I recognize people's needs to have their own opinions, there are things that I simply won't compromise, even when at risk. >:(
*Heritage
I think that this aspect of myself has changed a lot. At, say, the beginning of this year, I was a hypersensitive person, really put off by remarks that were less than satisfactory towards China. I felt that essentially, criticism towards it was pretty unfair, considering the lack of knowledge that some critics of it seem to have. It's been a while since then, and I can conclude differently. If I can allow criticism of my current home, America, shouldn't I want the same for my beloved heritage? I find that the Chinese government has rather thin skin, constantly trying to keep some sort of information or other from getting out. It's a bit complicated here, but then again, China's a pretty complex country. I am not complacent with how it is, but I'm optimistic.
*Cold Cuts
Hi Icy. B|
Essentially, I am actually a unicorn made of cold cuts. A coldcuticorn. The end
